If you passed your car driving test (B) after 1st January 1997 and the total combination weight of car and trailer plus all contents exceed 3.5 tonnes then yes you do need a trailer licence.
If you passed your driving test before this date then no you do not.

When calculating total combination weight, take into consideration that the maximum authorized mass (MAM) of the trailer must not exceed the unladen weight of the towing vehicle. Check the vehicle manufacturer's guide for the maximum towing weight of the vehicle you want to use.
Example: Total (3.5 tonne) = Car (2 tonne) + Trailer MAM (1.5 tonne)

We usually offer up to 4 daily sessions, each lasting 4 hours with one session consisting of a 2 hour assessment with the driving test following in the last session or next day.
Training can be adjusted to suit your availability and your experience will determine on how many sessions you require. Training days are normally 8.00am – 12.00pm or 12.30pm- 4.30pm and each session starts from as little as £120.
